Checklist for Health Screening for Women

International Health Insurance: Wellness Benefit

The trend is moving towards preventive health measures and most insurers do include health screening in their plan - for both adults and children. This includes screenings for cancer (e.g. colon cancer screening, pap smear test, prostate cancer test, mammogram), hearing and sight test, cardiovascular examinations, vital sign tests, neurological examinations and vaccinations.
For such benefit to kick in, insurers generally impose a waiting period of 1 to 3 years with a limit set for each policy year.
